 A banda é um projeto que vem desde a adolescência dos dois fundadores; Diego e Yves. Criada efetivamente no ano de 2018 com o propósito de composições autorais, a Apartamento Mobiliado foi assim nomeada em tom de brincadeira, até que ironicamente se oficializou. Instaurou-se no ano de 2018 com alguns shows na cidade de Juiz de Fora, mais focados inicialmente na performance de covers, com o propósito de arrecadação de capital para a posterior gravação do primeiro álbum, Em Obras, que viria a ser lançado no ano de 2020.

O primeiro álbum nada mais é do que uma oficialização como banda autoral, firmando um paralelo entre o nome da banda, o nome do álbum e seu processo de criação - obras. Advindo da necessidade de compor, escrever e compartilhar, trata de maneira crua e real sobre relacionamentos.

Gioconda, de 2022, segundo lançamento da banda, foi uma virada de chave no nível técnico das músicas. Ainda se encontra fase das “love songs”, que trata do mesmo tema na questão de composição lírica, contudo, na questão musical, Gioconda traz uma musicalidade destoante do primeiro álbum. Sendo mais voltado para um flerte com o rock progressivo, o EP é o convite de boas-vindas novamente aos palcos juizforanos, que ora fora interrompido pela pandemia.

Ao final de 2022, após o lançamento do single Angel, a banda mostra ao mundo o seu primeiro clipe, e com isso se consolidando no cenário independente. Em 2023, buscando voos mais altos, ApMob como se intitulam de forma carinhosa, se prepara para o lançamento de seu pretensioso álbum duplo, iniciado pelo single Tudo Outra Vez.

No quesito formações, a banda passa por diversos altos e baixos (tendo em vista que é uma banda universitária), contendo diversas passagens ao longo de sua existência. Hoje é estabelecida principalmente por Diego no vocal e guitarra base, Yves na guitarra solo e Thiago no teclado. Mais recentemente, contando com Yuri na bateria e Wesley no baixo.

Como um grupo mais maduro e promessa de temas mais abrangentes e reflexivos em suas próximas composições, a Apartamento Mobiliado é flexível e passa por fases, desprezando o “mais do mesmo” e a fórmula do sucesso.

The band is a project that has been in the making since the adolescence of its two founders, Diego and Yves. Effectively created in 2018 with the purpose of composing original songs, Apartamento Mobiliado (Furnished Apartment) was jokingly named as such until it ironically became official. It was established in 2018 with some shows in the city of Juiz de Fora, initially more focused on cover performances to raise capital for the subsequent recording of their first album, "Em Obras" (Under Construction), which was released in 2020.

The first album is nothing more than an officialization as an original band, establishing a parallel between the band's name, the album's name, and its creative process - works. Arising from the need to compose, write, and share, it deals with relationships in a raw and real manner.

"Gioconda," released in 2022 as the band's second album, marked a technical turning point in the level of the music. While still in the phase of "love songs," addressing the same lyrical theme, musically, "Gioconda" brings a sound distinct from the first album. Leaning more towards a flirtation with progressive rock, the EP serves as a welcome invitation back to the stages of Juiz de Fora, which had been interrupted by the pandemic.

By the end of 2022, after releasing the single "Angel," the band presented their first music video to the world, thus solidifying their presence in the independent scene. In 2023, aiming higher, affectionately calling themselves ApMob, they prepare for the release of their ambitious double album, starting with the single "Tudo Outra Vez" (Everything Again).

In terms of lineup changes, the band has experienced various ups and downs (considering it's a university band), with several member changes throughout its existence. Today, it is mainly comprised of Diego on vocals and rhythm guitar, Yves on lead guitar, and Thiago on keyboards.Most recently counting with Yuri on drums and Wesley on the bass.

As a more mature group promising broader and more reflective themes in their upcoming compositions, Apartamento Mobiliado is flexible and goes through phases, rejecting the "more of the same" and the formula for success.
